uOttawa Digital Policy Association
Student-led dialogue on technology, law, governance, and public policy.
uOttawa Digital Policy Association (uODPA) is a student-led, non-partisan organization at the University of Ottawa dedicated to exploring the intersection of technology, law, governance, and public policy. We examine how emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, privacy and data protection, cybersecurity, platform regulation, and intellectual property, are governed, regulated, and debated.
Through panels, workshops, roundtables, competitions, and other events, uODPA creates opportunities for students to engage with the policy challenges shaping the digital age. We bring together students from across disciplines to connect with professionals, deepen their understanding of digital governance, and contribute to thoughtful and informed discussion on the future of technology and society.
Open to students from all faculties, uODPA fosters an inclusive and interdisciplinary community grounded in curiosity, critical thinking, and innovation.
